“Do a Kickflip!” — The line that started a generation of challenges
The phrase comes from Eric Koston, immortalized when he walked around LA asking random skaters to “Do a Kickflip!” for his The Berrics segment.
It became a cultural moment:
a simple trick → a global callout → a pure celebration of skate spirit.
Tony Hawk also turned it into a running joke in his own videos, but Koston turned it into a leyenda.
